Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Level I

The Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Level I program provides the foundation for a career as a heavy equipment operator. Students learn equipment safety, basic operating techniques, and the core skills needed to work with heavy machinery while building the knowledge required for more advanced training.

Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Level II

Designed for students who have completed Level I, Level II expands on foundational operator skills with more advanced heavy equipment training. Students continue developing their operating abilities while gaining a deeper understanding of equipment applications and job site responsibilities.

Crane Operator Programs

Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Mobile Crane

The Mobile Crane program combines classroom learning with practical equipment training to introduce students to crane setup, lift planning, rigging, signaling, and load dynamics. It also serves as the prerequisite for the Lattice Boom Crawler Crane program, making it an excellent starting point for students pursuing a crane operation career.

Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Tower Crane

This specialized program prepares students with the fundamental knowledge and operating skills needed to work as tower crane operators. Training focuses on safe tower crane operation and is offered exclusively at our Georgia campus.

Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Lattice Boom Crawler Crane

After completing the Mobile Crane program, students can continue their education with specialized training in lattice boom crawler crane operation. Coursework covers crane setup, lift planning, load dynamics, rigging, and signaling to prepare students for more advanced crane operating roles.

Certificate of Fixed Cab Crane Operation With Rigging and Signaling

This program teaches the skills needed to safely operate fixed cab cranes while also developing expertise in rigging and signaling. Graduates are prepared for entry-level opportunities as fixed cab crane operators, riggers, or signalpersons in a variety of industries.

Associate of Occupational Science in Heavy Equipment (AOS)

Our Associate of Occupational Science (AOS) in Heavy Equipment is designed for students who want to build on their technical training with broader industry knowledge. This hybrid program combines online coursework with hands-on instruction, helping students develop skills that extend beyond equipment operation into areas like estimating, project management, and other construction and industrial career pathways.
